Regulated Tests for Studying in the United States
GRE (Graduate Record Examination)
Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) is the most generally acknowledged regulated exam score for graduate and doctorate applicants interested in studying in the United States.
It evaluates students’ ability in verbal thinking, mathematical reasoning, and analytical writing (AWA). The test is evaluated out of 340 points, with the Verbal and Quantitative sections obtaining scores ranging from 130 to 170. The Analytical Writing section is graded individually on a scale of 0 to 6.

GMAT (MBA)
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), as the name suggests, is intended for students interested in pursuing an MBA or other management-related degree.

The Scholastic Academic Test (SAT) is the most widely accepted test for students interested in earning a bachelor’s degree at a US university. The SAT measures your ability in reading, writing, and language, as well as arithmetic and essay writing.

SAT Subject Tests (Undergraduate)
Students who want to enter an Ivy League or another Top 30 university must take two subject examinations. Although it is not required by many universities, it is strongly recommended for scholarship consideration.
